Story
Hi my name is Lora, I own and operate Bubble Library. One of my favorite past times is to relax in a hot bath with a good book (starting my interest in pretty and fun soaps and bath products).
In 2018, I started my soaping journey. Being a nurse by profession, I knew that I wanted to use the most natural and skin loving ingredients that I could (research, research, research!) My first rounds of soaps were tested by my husband and then given as gifts for family and friends. By 2019, I started to include my co-workers as well (secret Santa anyone?).
When the pandemic hit in 2020, soap making became my stress relieving outlet. I'm sure everyone can guess that the hospitals were a crazy place to be! At this time I also started to play around with resin, making bookmarks ( the DYI days of Youtube!) My husband, being the loving and supporting person that he is, and seeing the never ending soap pile, suggested that I try and turn my passion hobby into a business. And thus, Bubble Library was born. The name "Bubble Library" came about as I started crafting in my library, and had been doing so until early 2023, when Baby Bubble came along and displaced the library. I now share a workspace with my hubby.
I plan on continuing to try new techniques and designs, using different ingredients and expanding what Bubble Library has to offer. I hope you continue on this soap making journey with me.
